Use the AVA Recorder app to easily capture audio recordings and securely send them to the AVA web application — avanalyze.com — where you can organize, analyze, and share your recordings.

IMPORTANT: AVA Recorder is not a general purpose audio recorder. It is a companion mobile app just for use with the AVA web application.

FEATURES

The AVA Recorder app makes it easy to get recordings into your AVA collections or the collections of other AVA users who have given you access. Just save your AVA account credentials in the app, and each time you are ready to send a recording to AVA, the app will connect, let you choose an AVA collection, and upload.

Recording is simple.
- A simple interface walks you through recording and uploading to AVA.
- A one-tap recording option lets you automatically start recording whenever a new recording is selected.
- Recordings can be paused and resumed during recording.
- The upload status of each recording is clearly shown, so you know when a recording is safe to delete from your phone.

Recordings are secure.
- A pass-code must be set when you install the app and then entered whenever the app is launched, switched to, unlocked (see below), or used to perform sensitive actions like linking to your AVA account.
- A one-tap lock function lets you quickly lock the running app at any time, preventing others from seeing or using the app without your pass-code. The app will continue to record while locked.
- Recordings are encrypted by the app itself, providing an additional layer on top of your phones own encryption. This keeps your recordings encrypted even if you do not lock your phone or your phones pass-code is compromised.
- Recordings are uploaded to the AVA website over an encrypted connection.
